Power Apps CanvasDemoRuns on M365 licence

MaterialOrder — a real Canvas App with demo data: material ordering for hospital wards. The data source is SharePoint, so the app runs on your existing M365 licences — no add-on licence. Here it's a hospital; the same pattern fits warehousing, purchasing, maintenance or field service.

Dashboard — station status at a glance
Barcode scanner — EAN by camera or entry
Orders — list, detail and audit trail
Catalogue — master data and stock

    Why now

Why now and not last year?

Microsoft's new Model Context Protocol server for Canvas App authoring is changing the pace. We describe an app in natural language, point the agent at your Dataverse tables — and get a working scaffold within minutes. Then we refine it in workshops with you. What used to take 6–12 weeks, we now deliver in 5 days.

    How a week unfolds

    Day 1

    Problem and data model

Half-day workshop with your business team. We sketch the user flow, the screens and the data entities required. In parallel, we set up a Dataverse solution wired to your existing sources (SQL, SharePoint, D365, Azure).

    Investment

    From CHF 2'000 · typically CHF 12'000 – 25'000

Three sizes, depending on maturity and scope. Spike (0.5–1 day, CHF 2–4k): a prompt-driven prototype to validate an idea internally or show the art of the possible — deliberately disposable. Sprint (5 days, CHF 12–25k): production-ready MVP with Dataverse integration, roles and deployment — the standard case. Extended Sprint (8–10 days, CHF 25–45k): complex multi-source scenarios (SAP, legacy databases, multi-stage approvals). We agree on the right tier in the free 30-minute scoping call — before the project, not after.

    FAQ

You do. From day 1. We don't deliver a black box — the Power Fx code and the Dataverse solution sit in your environment and are editable by your team.

Yes. Deployed to your tenant, Dataverse solution, role model, audit logging. No demo, no sandbox. You use it from Monday morning.

An open standard, originally published by Anthropic and now adapted by Microsoft for Power Platform and Copilot Studio, so that AI agents can access tools and data sources in a structured way. For Power Apps it means: an AI agent can build a Canvas App from a description while using your real data sources — no copy-paste, no hallucinations.

A traditional prototype is often weeks old by the time the kick-off ends, because design, build and review run sequentially. With us, the architect and AI pair programmer build the scaffold live with you — you watch the app grow, course-correct immediately, and at the end the code lives in your tenant, not in a Figma file.

Most of the time, yes — we use your existing solution, environment and role structure. If you don't have one, we put together a minimal framework with you in the scoping call (2–3 extra hours).

Yes, as a 2-week equivalent. The MCP path is less mature for Model-driven Apps (D365) than for Canvas, so we work more traditionally there — but with the same single-room focus. Please raise it in the scoping call.

Then we choose a different tier: Spike (0.5–1 day) for validation, Extended Sprint (8–10 days) for complex integrations, or we recommend the Full Implementation model directly. We only accept engagements where the chosen tier is realistic — neither over- nor under-scoped.
