Portals vary far too much in scope for a blanket answer — a self-service portal with a handful of forms is a different matter from a platform with several user groups and connected processes. We put the schedule in writing after the intro call, together with the fixed price.
Power Pages is the portal building block of the Microsoft Power Platform. You use it to build public or authenticated websites that read and write Dataverse directly — the same data your Dynamics 365 CRM uses. Sign-in, permissions and forms come with the platform instead of having to be developed one by one.
Access is governed by web roles and table permissions and enforced server-side — not by a display filter in the frontend. Every external user signs in, either via Microsoft Entra External ID or via your existing identity provider. Who may see and change which record is defined explicitly and can be audited.
If your data already sits in Dataverse — with Dynamics 365, for example — the portal reads it directly, with no second database and no nightly sync. If the data lives elsewhere, we clarify in the intro call whether an integration or a migration is the more sensible route.
On request, yes. That covers monitoring, new or changed forms, permission adjustments and the ongoing platform updates. Whether you take that on yourself or leave it to us is your call.
