Sales, invoices and responsibilities in the same CRM

EDGE Strategy helps companies with equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Theia introduced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales for the company's own sales work. The collaboration in 2022 and 2023 also included adjustments for invoice processing, user support and Power BI topics.

At EDGE Strategy, CRM work also included orders and invoices. Employees therefore needed access to different areas. When new users joined, the appropriate roles and navigation needed to fit together. There were also changes in personnel: when someone moved from invoice processing to the Customer Experience team, notifications and permissions needed to be reassigned.

Theia added orders, invoices and a dashboard to the CRM application's navigation for the relevant user groups. The adjustments were deployed to the production environment. We also assigned the required security roles and helped employees access the application.

One specific support case involved an employee moving from invoice processing to the Customer Experience team. Theia redirected the existing notifications to the new person responsible and adjusted that person's roles for sending invoices. The CRM configuration thus followed the team's changing responsibilities.

We also supported questions about using an existing Power BI dashboard and the licences it required. This reference connects the introduction of a sales CRM with practical adjustments for daily work after the rollout.
